The End of The Doll Chapter
Filed Under (Fun Stuff) by janae.galindo on 02-02-2009
Most everyone that reads this blog knows that we have been selling dolls for our friend Gregg for the last 2 years. If you have been to our house then you have seen the piles of dolls lining our walls waiting to be sold. Well, I am pleased to announce that the doll chapter of our lives is over. After selling $11,000 worth of dolls we handed over the remaining dolls to Gregg this weekend. And though it might look like a lot (see picture) compared to what we started with it is a very small, managable amount. I can’t tell you what a load it is off my shoulders to be done with this. We were of course happy to help a friend and his father and I learned a lot about ebay, but I am so happy to have my house (and my spare time) back.
After the dolls were gone, I was inspired to finish some other projects. I have been working on my first crochet project for a few months. It is a baby blanket. Hopefully anyone that sees it will be distracted by the bright colors and not see all the mistakes. I also finished my Girls Camp scrapbook that has been an ongoing project for a few months. See the pictures of that scrapbook and my other scrap pages here.
